Founded by a Londoner trained in conservation at De Montford University in England, Restoration and Refinishing LLC provides a broad range of conservation, restoration and refinishing services in a host of specialty areas. We use Old World restoration methods for services in areas including, but not limited to, furniture restoration and repair, ceramic restoration, piano restoration and voicing and decorative and faux painting. We also offer chair repair as well as caning and rushing. In addition, we provide media blasting services for metal items such as garden furniture, lanterns and various decorative accessories. If there is a service you require and it is not listed, give us a call and we can probably meet your needs!

Our FULLY INSURED business can provide pick-up and delivery service and covers the Long Island, NYC and overall Tri-State areas. This website provides a sampling of our work and we post in-process photos of our jobs so clients can follow the evolution of our work on their pieces. We work with a variety of clients including individual collectors, designers, architects, contractors and insurance companies.
